Bakery and Cakes

Muffins and pastry in the case before the first pot of coffee is gone. Custom cakes out the door every week. All of it from scratch, in the little white building, same as the pancakes.

The morning case

The case fills early: muffins by the dozen, butter croissants, cream-cheese danish, and jars of the house granola. When it empties, that is that until tomorrow.

The custom cakes

Every one of these left the building for somebody's big day. And every one started the same way: a person with a party coming, and a conversation over the counter or the phone.

Cake questions, answered over the counter

How far ahead should I order a cake?

Give us at least three days, and more for tiered or heavily decorated cakes. Holiday weeks book out early.

How do I order a custom cake?

Send the order form on this page, or ask at the counter. Either way, every cake is confirmed by a phone call before it's booked.

How much does a custom cake cost?

It depends on the size and the decoration, so we price each cake when we confirm your order by phone. No deposits online, no surprises.

Can you make a cake from a photo I found?

Bring it, or attach it to the order form. We will tell you honestly what we can do with it.

Can you work around food allergies?

Tell us about any allergy in the order form and we will talk it through when we call. Ours is a working bakery kitchen, not an allergen-free one, so we are always honest about what we can promise.

Do you make cupcakes and cookies too?

Yes. Cupcakes, decorated cookies, sheet cakes, tiered cakes, heart-shaped cakes: tell us what the party needs.
