Privacy
We are a breakfast cafe, not a data company. This page says what the website collects (very little), where it goes, and how to reach us about it.
What this site collects
The only thing this website collects is what you type into the cake order form: your name, phone number, pickup date, how many people the cake feeds, the flavor, what to write on it, allergies we should know about, any notes, and, if you add them, a reference photo and your email address.
There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no newsletter. Ordering a cake does not put you on a mailing list.
Where a cake order goes
When you submit the form, your request is emailed straight to the cafe at Moonakiscafe@gmail.com. The email travels through Resend, the service that carries our order mail, and your reference photo rides along as an attachment. A person reads it, and we confirm every cake by phone.
If the email cannot be sent for any technical reason, the page tells you it did not go through, and the text of your request is kept in the website's private server logs so nothing you typed is silently lost. Those logs are private to the site's operators and clear automatically within days. And if online ordering is temporarily unavailable, the form says so on the spot instead of quietly accepting your details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your information with anyone. Its only job is getting your cake made.
- We do not run advertising or analytics cookies. If we ever add a simple visitor counter such as Google Analytics, this page will say so first.
- The order form has quiet spam protection that looks at how the form was filled out, never at who you are.
Photos you send
A reference photo is used to understand the cake you want. That is all.
Keeping and deleting
Order emails live in the cafe's inbox the way a phone order would. If you want yours deleted, call (508) 457-9630 or email Moonakiscafe@gmail.com and we will take care of it.
Effective July 10, 2026. If this policy changes, the date changes with it.
